Meals On Wheels

The City of Lawndale, in partnership with the Salvation Army, offers home delivered meals. 

The meals are delivered to Lawndale senior residents, who are 60 years of age or older, and unable to prepare their own meals due to illness, or indisposing circumstances.

Meals are delivered to residents homes Monday through Friday, between 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m..

The cost per meal is $4.75, billed monthly. (Pricing is subject to change).

**A case manager, assigned to the City's Senior Services Division is required to conduct a visit/assessment prior to the delivery of meals.**


Daily Congregate Meal Program

Daily congregate meals has transitioned to Monday & Thursday delivery service until further notice. 

The option to receive congregate meal services is available to Lawndale residents, 60 years of age or older. Slots fill up quickly! To obtain further information and/or have your name placed on the waitlist, please contact (310) 973-3284 and be prepared to leave your name, date of birth, address, and a telephone number where you can be reached.
