SENIOR CITIZEN ADVISORY COMMITTEE- Help us to improve our senior services!

The Senior Citizen Advisory Committee was formed by the City Council to provide information and advice about what programs and services are wanted and needed by seniors. Help the committee to constantly improve our senior services by participating in its meetings - the fourth Wednesday of every month, at 2:00 p.m., in the Community Center.

Senior Travel Club

WELCOME TO THE LAWNDALE SENIOR TRAVEL CLUB! WE ARE UP AND GOING ON TRIPS AGAIN!

The mission of the Lawndale Senior Travel Club is “to research, plan and conduct a variety of trips and tours for Senior Citizens. The club shall always consider the needs and desires of the membership when determining trip procedures, locations, costs and activities.” In keeping with this mission, the Senior Travel Club is looking to gather input from members and potential members to ensure that these trips meet the needs of the community.

CLUB INFORMATION:

Signups for trips are on the 1st Thursday of each month 8:00AM -9:00AM.   The general meetings are on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, at 1:30PM.  Membership, waivers, and trip signups must be done between 12:30PM-1:15PM before the general meeting.   Both meetings are held at City Hall.
