Planning Applications

The following documents available inside the document container below require an initial deposit upon submittal. An additional deposit may be required if the work performed by staff to process and review a project exceeds the amount of the initial deposit.

The following documents are a one time, flat fee, payment: Director's Determination, Planning Letter, Research Letter, Restrictive Use Covenant, Zoning Verification Letter (per lot).

* The Wireless Telecommunications Plan Check application is for projects where the proposed work will take place on private property.

Contact the Public Works Department at (310) 973-3260 for any Wireless Telecommunication Plan Checks where the proposed work is located in the public right-of-way.

For questions about submittal requirements or to coordinate an application submittal, please contact the Community Development Department. 

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Department's public counter is closed to the public.

To pay for an application, please mail-in, or drop-off a check or money order payable to the City of Lawndale.
