Chapter 10.20 BICYCLES
10.20.080 Change of address or ownership--Duplicate licenses.
A. Whenever the owner of a bicycle licensed pursuant to this chapter
changes his or her resident address, such owner shall within ten days notify the
city clerk or the clerk's designee of the old and new address.
B. Whenever
any person sells or otherwise disposes of a bicycle, such person shall endorse
upon the registration certificate previously issued for the bicycle a written
transfer of same, and setting forth the name, address and telephone number of
the transferee, the date of transfer, and the signature of the transferor, and
shall deliver the registration certificate to the licensing agency within ten
days.
C. In the event that any bicycle license indicia or registration
issued pursuant to this chapter is lost, stolen or mutilated, the licensee shall
immediately notify the city clerk or the clerk's designee and within ten days
after such notification shall apply for a duplicate license indicia and
registration, and shall include therewith the appropriate fee. (Prior code
