A. Fees required to be paid pursuant to the provisions of this chapter shall be retained by the city and used for the support of bicycle licensing, bicycle safety programs and bicycle facilities within the city.
B. Fees shall be in such amount as the city council may establish from time to time by resolution, but shall not exceed the following limits:
1. For each new bicycle license and registration certificate, the sum shall not exceed two dollars per year or any portion thereof.
2. For each transfer of registration certificate, the sum shall not exceed one dollar.
3. For each replacement of a bicycle license or registration certificate, the sum shall not exceed one dollar.
4. For each bicycle license renewal, the sum shall not exceed one dollar per year or any portion thereof. (Prior code § 4-5)
