5.24.110 House number painter--House numbers on curbs.

A. Consent. No person shall place or cause to be placed or painted upon any public curb any house number unless the consent of the owner or the occupant of the property immediately adjacent thereto has first been obtained in writing.
B. House Numbers. Numbers placed on the curb shall be in black paint in figures of the size of three in height, and impressed upon a white background of the size of five by eleven inches.
C. Identification Card. Every person painting or placing numbers on the curbs as allowed herein must at all times while engaged in such activity have in his or her possession a valid, unrevoked identification card issued by the city stating the persons's name and address, the name and address of the permittee and licensee, and the date of expiration of such permit.
