Clean-Up Week

During Lawndale's Clean Up Week, yard sales are free of charge and large items will be picked up curbside on your specified trash days, with the exception of concrete, construction materials, large appliances, or hazardous waste.
On Clean Up Day, The City's Municipal Yard, located at 4722 Manhattan Beach Blvd., will be open from 9am to 2pm for residents to drop off large quantities of waste material, such as lumber, etc. Proof of residency is required. No contractors are allowed, and no hazardous waste will be accepted. For information regarding hazardous watse disposal, please call 1-888-CLEAN-LA.
In addition, the Beautification Committee hosts an organized street and planter clean up. Certificates and lunch will b provided for all volunteers.
