Save the Planet - Recycle

LA County Department of Public Works, in conjuction with many other organizations in California have put together different programs for proper management of all waste generated within the County.
The following is a list of some of these programs with different events coming up in the near future. Please browse through and inform yourself on ways you can help in Saving the Planet:

The Mow Down Pollution Partnership promotes grass recycling and the use of electric mulching lawnmowers.

Household Hazardous Waste

Do you have old paint, oil, cleaners, televisions or electronics that you're not sure what to do with? Dispose of these items properly at a FREE Household Hazardous/Electronic Waste (HHW/E-Waste) Collection Event near you - there's one almost every weekend around L.A. County.
