HOW CAN I GET A COPY OF A PROGRAM I SAW ON CHANNEL 22?
You can request a VHS or DVD copy of any video program that has aired on Channel 22 simply by clicking here to download a copy of the Media Duplication Form. Just fill out sections 1 through 3 of this form, calculate the total amount due and mail the form with a check for the total amount to the following address:

WHAT IS LAWNDALE COMMUNITY TELEVISION?

OVERVIEW
Lawndale Community Cable Television Channel 22 and City of Lawndale's Cable Television Department are funded by the Lawndale Cable Usage Corporation and the City of Lawndale through Local Access Fees and Franchise Fees provided by the local cable company, Time Warner Cable. The Lawndale Cable Usage Corporation is the non-profit, California corporation that receives these fees, and provides for the development of Lawndale Community Cable Television.

The Lawndale Cable Usage Corporation
approves the annual Cable Television Budget and created the Lawndale Cable Commission, a body of appointed officials, to oversee and promote local programming over the City's cable television channel.
The Lawndale Cable Usage Corporation meets annually and on an as necessary basis.

The Lawndale Cable Commission meets on every 4th Thursday of every even numbered month for the purpose of review, evaluation and promotion of local programming and to approve and fund programming development policies and grants.

PUBLIC, EDUCATION AND GOVERNMENT (P.E.G.) ACCESS TELEVISION
The City's Cable Television Division is responsible for the regulatory oversight of the City's Public, Education and Government (PEG) Access Program in the City of Lawndale. The Cable TV Division also provides management, operation, maintenance and support services for the City of Lawndale's two Government Access channels, Lawndale Community Cable Television Channel 3 and Channel 22.

GOVERNMENT ACCESS - LCTV Channel 3 and LCTV Channel 22
Programming on Channel 3 consist of Live City Council Meetings and a 24 hour 7 days a week electronic bulletin board featuring public service and event announcements as well as the Channel 22 Program Schedule.

Programming on Channel 22 consists of Live City Council Meetings, live and live-to-tape coverage of special events, LCUC funded programming and community related programming produced by other government agencies.

FACILITIES
The City maintains a line-of-sight video transmitter for telecasting programming for Channel 3 and Channel 22. The City also maintains video production facilities including a remote controlled multicamera TV Production Control Room in City Hall to provide live coverage of the City Council Meetings and other legislative body meetings designated for television coverage.

The City also maintains a mobile video production van to provide multicamera TV coverage of events outside of City Hall. Additionally, Time Warner Cable provides for municipal access, based on the terms of the franchise agreement, to the City of Torrance's 2500 sq. ft. Public Access Television Studio for the purpose of producing multicamera studio productions. This facility is located at:

PUBLIC ACCESS - TWC Public Access Channel 6 (starting at 7pm)
The City of Lawndale's Public Access Television Program provides free video production training and access to video production and editing equipment for the purpose of producing public access programming for the City of Lawndale and is telecast on a shared channel, Channel 6, beginning at 7pm, 7 days a week. Public Access Training and access to Public Access Facilities are provided by franchise agreement through Time Warner Cable. Any resident of the City of Lawndale is eligible to participate and must provide proof of residency to enroll. EDUCATION ACCESS - DHTV Channel 6 (before 7pm) and ECC-TV Channel 8
Education Access is provided for by the City of Lawndale and Time Warner Cable. California State University at Dominguez Hills and El Camino College provide Education Access programming on DHTV Channel 6 and ECC-TV Channel 8 respectively. California State University at Dominguez Hills programming airs on the shared channel, Channel 6 before 7pm, 7 days a week.
